Security Measures/Data Protection

• Parents/Carers will be asked to give prior approval before any reference (name or picture) is made of an individual pupil. If written approval has not been received by the school, it will be deemed that approval has been denied.

• No pupil will be identifiable by reference to his/her full name.

• Only group photographs, taken at a distance, will be included.

• No photographs of individuals will appear.

• When the work of pupils is displayed, it will be for the express purpose of promoting the school by indicating the type, quality and range of work undertaken at school.

• The site will be updated on a weekly basis.

• Any item proposed for uploading onto a webpage will be first scrutinised by the School Webmaster who will take the responsibility for uploading material onto the holding-page on Leeds Learning Network, for further scrutiny by the School Webapprover, before the final uploading onto the Website. This route is protected by separate passwords for the Webmaster and Webapprover.
